A quick post

I threw my back out Tuesday morning and spent a bit of time laying in the hallway. I was the only one home. Eventually I ended up crawling into the livingroom and there I stayed for a few hours until my daughter came home. Not fun being so helpless. I don't recommend it. I'm trying to take it easy today so my daughter is typing this post for me. I really can't sit long enough to do anything at all. It's annoying. Any way I can't have a post without pictures so here's one of the mermaids I was working on over the weekend and my cat who has taken over a box under my work table. Hope to be back online soon!

  1. Oh dear. That happened to me once and I was stuck too. I was on a subway and I couldn't stand up to get off at my stop. The pain was too much to move. Fortunately my brother was with me and somehow managed to help me off. Really not fun.

  4. So sorry to hear that. If you can stand it, ice it a couple of times a day (but for no more then 5 to 10 minutes at a time) and Advils are good for the inflammation.
    Hope you feel better soon.

  6. Oh NO! I know EXACTLY what you are going through! Remember last
winter when I fell off the steps while shoveling. That pain is HORRIBLE. and I know how frustrating it is to feel so helpless! I wish I lived around the corner, I'd run some of my "sister's" pain pills over to you! That or I'd make you a nice "beverage" to help mellow things out!

  7. Oh, sweetie! That is awful! I have been there - it makes the old "I've fallen and I can't get up" thing a reality, doesn't it? :) Take good care of yourself, and rest up. xox!! Pam
