Craft Store Finds.

Whoo Hoo! Kunin has new patterned felt available at Joann's! 
I'm going to have a lot of fun with these! I've seen them online for a while but now I can walk into my store and get them! Also picked up some small pattered fabric and a lovely blue fabric for a swap I'm in. Buttons, embroidery thread, acrylic paint and polyfil too.

My creative mojo has been absent lately but I hoping it'll return soon while I feel up to making things.

Craft Store Finds

I finally got to the craft store yesterday to get a few buttons for my plush dolls and almost everything was on a holiday sale. I went nuts loading up a cart until my voice of reason said "And how do you plan to pay for all of this?!" Sadly I put most of it back but I couldn't resist the 60% off Halloween fabric, and really who could? I may have to do Halloween all year round, lol!

Worktable Wednesday

I'm going full force on making dolls right now. Working on a Halloween set and have made good progress on 4 of the 8 I intend to complete. Here's a sneak peek.

 I went to the craft store yesterday specifically to pick up buttons to do the joints of the dolls and didn't even buy them. I'm a doofus. So I need to go back again cause 2 of the dolls are dressed and ready for limbs. I'll probably hold off on showing them until I finish the whole set but maybe not cause I get so excited and want to share what I'm doing, so we'll see.

I did pick up some great Halloween type fabric and some small detail buttons that I did need too. Also this great yarn that I have special plans for.

Craft Store Finds

My mom and I went to Joann's today. I needed tule for my art doll and I
was hoping to get the STUFFED magazine too.

I was lucky and found the STUFFED magazine. I also got these great orange bowls. I LOVE the color orange. Not sure if they will stay in my studio or not yet. Also got this super cute chicken timer. Could not pass that up! Bought more pins but these have large knobs on the heads which are easier for me to pick up when my hands swell up. The best score of the day was the iron on ric rac felt! I got pink, aqua and lime green. They were in the clearance section and had between 8 and 10 years on them for, are you ready for it?, .97 cents a yard!!!! The regular price is $2.99 a yard! I grabbed the cute colors but may go back tomorrow to see if I missed any other good ones.

I was so proud of myself for not going nuts-o bunnies and sticking to my budget even with the ric rac. Have you scored anything awesome lately? I'd love to hear about it!
