Goodbye Seahorses!

My last 3 seahorse plushies have been sold and are shipping out today to France. How exciting for them! They will be international travelers going places I'd love to be able to go but know I never will. This is the next best thing! The seahorses design is now retired, I won't be making more unless there is a special request.
These were one of my favorite designs. Maybe I'll make a larger one just for me.

A Herd of Seahorses

Finally got a sunny enough day to snap some photos of the seahorses. If you remember I originally did them in baby pink and baby blue colors. Decided to take it up a notch with some fun jewel tone colors and love them!

Some interesting seahorse facts:
Did you know that seahorses are fish? They are. Also in ancient times they were considered to be mythological creatures, like mermaids. Seahorses mate for life and male seahorses are the only creatures on this planet that birth their young. There are 35 different species of seahorses and some are on the verge of extinction.

Make sure you drop in tomorrow. I'll be starting a giveaway. Something fun and one of a kind!

My Mermaids are Finished

I finally got my product tags done so was able to finally finish my mermaids. They have swum (is swum a word?) their happy way into my shop.

As always my dolls are multi ethnic.

The maids wanted to take photos with their undersea friends.
Hugs from Seahorses.
A special hug from Arnie.

The seahorses in lots of different colors and Arnie will be in the shop soon.

Whoa Nellie, Here Come The Seahorses!

Finished the prototype of my new Seahorses plush I'm going to be putting in my shop.
Their tails can be twinned together.

My daughter loves these so much she wants me to make an over sized one for her new room re-do. These are prototypes because I don't have any product tags yet. I found a great seller on etsy who makes them. Once my tags are here I can finish up everything I have going on and show you my "official" tagged plush.
