Worktable Wednesday: Easter Patterns and Easter Bunny Dolls

Hi everyone! I hope some of you got a chance to check out The Happy Shamrock Pattern and tutorial from the last post. I really enjoyed making and sharing it with you!

For today's Worktable Wednesday I'm currently working on free Easter patterns for my newsletter subscribers and you awesome blog readers. These will be two completely different patterns. The blog pattern is a simpler easy to make one and the newsletter one is more detailed and will be sold in my shop at a future date, but my subscribers get it for free.

Working out one of the patterns. I plan on introducing patterns here on Mondays. Next Monday the 21st I should have the Easter pattern and tutorial available for the blog.

Are there any patterns you'd like to see me design, make and share with you?

I wanted to share a few things that are in my shop right now and perfect for Easter.

Bunny ornaments. 2 different kinds ( jointed bunny and bunny face ) and only for 2016. They will probably be made into diy patterns at some point, but for now they are made and ready to ship.

These adorable bunny hoop art girl and boy are something new in my shop that I'm trying out. I'm head over heels in love with these and will adding to this category very soon.

And last but not least, bunny dolls. I wish you could see these in person, hold them and really look at the details! They seriously add to the cuteness factor of the studio.

I just purchased a tripod for my phone so I can make videos of all kinds of crafty things. I have a Youtube channel now and as soon as I get it looking pretty and get some videos loaded I'll invite you to join me.

Worktable Wednesday: Product Launch Day!

Whew am I exhausted! I've been working my butt off here in the studio to get everything done it time. I was up til 1 am finishing all the product descriptions and loading photos onto my website. You know what? I'm pretty proud of all the work I've done.

16 new items were introduced today. Here's a few pics of what they are. If you are really interested go to my website and look thought them all, even if it's just for fun.

I have some cute bunny face ornaments.

Adorable embroidered and appliqued jointed bunny ornaments.

A fluffle (group) of awesome felt bunnies.

I give thanks to my daughter who came over and helped with my photo shoot. I couldn't have done it without her.

I hope these colorful creatures have brought a smile to your face today!

Working on Launching Collections

I've been taking some online creative business classes to learn more about marketing to social media.

Back in the day, 10 years ago, when I ran 2 businesses, one being an online stationery store, things were done differently than today. Now that I'm physically able to run a business again, I need to learn how it's done currently.

One lesson that I surprisingly already knew and used to do, but for some reason haven't really done recently is to Launch Collections. In my stationary days I did that all the time! Why I didn't transfer that to what I do now? I just don't know!

Well what this means is basically instead of making one thing and putting it in my shop, I'll be making a collection of things and offering those all together about every 3 to 4 months.

This gives my fans something to look forward to and eases the stress on me of having something, anything done. I'll keep me focused on task. Plus I hope this will enable me to take on more custom and commissioned work in the future.

So I'm announcing my first launch date. March 2, 2016. I'll be making bunnies for Easter/Spring.

I'll show wips of what I'm working on but not completed things until right before the launch.
