Friday Finds: Bunnies For Easter Baskets

Today's finds are all about the amazing handcrafted bunnies available for your child's Easter basket or just for you.

This first one is super sweet for the littlest ones in your family. I love how soft and squishy these look. Perfect for small hands to grab.

These are such sweet cuddly crocheted bunnies. I adore crocheted creatures and dolls so much and these are beautiful designed and made.

Adorable plush bunny who is a Superhero too. They also have Superhero girl bunnies!

This shop carries unusual and lovely designed dolls. I follow her on Instagram and her fabric choices are wonderful.

It's a girl and a bunny in one! Simple design with tons of style and a favorite of mine.

And since this is my blog I'm going to add one of my bunnies too.

So many awesome and completely different bunnies to choose from! I hope you enjoyed seeing all my finds today.

Worktable Wednesday: The Shop Update Countdown Has Begun

Oh the stress! The countdown to my product launch/shop update has started and I'm scrambling to finish everything I can. I will have less products than I initially hoped because of personal drama taking me away from the studio. My dog has been sick and I don't want to get into that right now so I'm trying my best to continue to move forward.

The hoop art I was working on is finished and I seriously can't stand the cuteness! I hope you all will enjoy these pieces as much as I do.

Bright and colorful is the name of the game in the studio the last few weeks.

I completely changed the dress design from the last post, and I think these work so much better. Still need their final trim pieces and it'll be time to dress some bunnies.

The girls need their clothes too.

I'm so super excited about everything going on in the studio, I'm just grinning from ear to ear and I hope these peeks have made you smile too!

Working on Launching Collections

I've been taking some online creative business classes to learn more about marketing to social media.

Back in the day, 10 years ago, when I ran 2 businesses, one being an online stationery store, things were done differently than today. Now that I'm physically able to run a business again, I need to learn how it's done currently.

One lesson that I surprisingly already knew and used to do, but for some reason haven't really done recently is to Launch Collections. In my stationary days I did that all the time! Why I didn't transfer that to what I do now? I just don't know!

Well what this means is basically instead of making one thing and putting it in my shop, I'll be making a collection of things and offering those all together about every 3 to 4 months.

This gives my fans something to look forward to and eases the stress on me of having something, anything done. I'll keep me focused on task. Plus I hope this will enable me to take on more custom and commissioned work in the future.

So I'm announcing my first launch date. March 2, 2016. I'll be making bunnies for Easter/Spring.

I'll show wips of what I'm working on but not completed things until right before the launch.

A couple of small bunny ornaments.

Sewing tiny noses.

 Little bunny smiles.

I need to still make the eggs for these guys.

Bunny doll.

 Designing ears.

Wednesday Worktable

I'm going to be pretty random today. More progress to show on the dolls from the previous Wednesday post.

Here's one in the works. Part of a series I'm doing. I'm not going top say what they are yet. I have a quandary though. One of the characters is usually made human like since a human played him in a movie. But in the original story he was an large animal that the other characters could ride on. I'm unsure at this point what I may do.

Binks popped into the studio for a head scratching session.

Lita is knocked out under blankets as usual.

I made a little Valentine Plush for my daughter. It's fleece with felt accents. Can I say sewing with fleece is kind of a slippery slidy nightmare?! I much prefer felt.

Well that's all right now. I'm in a holding pattern waiting for ordered supplies to arrive.
