#1 In My New Series Of "How I Create My Plush".

How I create my plush Step 1.

1. When I start designing plush characters, I have an idea in my head first.

2. Then I start with a small sketch. Nothing fancy, just a simple doodle.

3. I then scan the image into my computer and start to work out the sizing and details of the plush.

I wasn't happy with the smirk the original doodle had since the White Rabbit is supposed to be in a hurry and distressed. So I changed it and added more complete facial details.

4. At this point I start to work out my colors too.

This plush is a bit different from my other ones in that I'm going to machine sew and use fleece for the main body.

That's all for now. More to come later.

PART 2 can be found HERE.

On a side note I have to say how much I love the new photo feature on blogger so much easier but wish the spell check was still here. Really dumb not to keep it blogger.

I've often wondered about your process. Even your sketching is better than mine. I guess that's why I don't design:D

Love the behind the scenes!

I use the internet browser Firefox (instead of Internet Explorer) and it has spell check. LOVE it!

WOW! I'm embarrassed to admit my "process" - (I just draw on the fabric and then start cutting!) No wonder all your stuff looks so great! You have it planned out to look Fabulous!
