I gave birth to my 2nd and last child. A momentous occasion. The Ultrasound said the baby was a boy. I already had a boy. I really wanted a girl because for health reasons I was told to only have 2 babies. Needless to say I got over my disappointment pulled out all my 1st son's clothes and picked a boy's name. 2 boys...I was fine with it since I was lucky enough to be able to have children and all the tests said the baby was going to be healthy.
Well when the doctor held the baby up during delivery and said it's a girl I almost passed out! My last child was a daughter! Wasn't she a huge and lovely surprise!
Wow do I look young here. I was 26.

Oh oh oh happy birthday to your beautiful daughter!! I have four girls and one boy...I adore them all! But I will say having at least one son is a joy!! So glad you got your set hon!!
As for kiddos turning older...ackkkk..I have one turning 30 in July and another turning 24..where does the time go??!

you look so young and elated to have 2 gorgeous children. how blessed we are to have our children, i never take that for granted. what a gorgeous young lady she has grown up to be. would be lovely to see a picture of her big brother too :)
my friend has been told she is having a girl and at her baby shower she got heaps of pink and girly things so i do hope the doctors are right or she will be taking lots of things back to the shops ~_~

What a lovely story! I was the same but got two boys but my second boy was much smaller than my first and they are totally different now. Lovely story and hope your daughter had a lovely birthday x
